5:17 Naaman said, “If not, then please give your servant a load of dirt, enough for a pair of mules to carry, ¹  for your servant will never again offer a burnt offering or sacrifice to a god other than the Lord. ²

11:4 In the seventh year Jehoiada summoned ³  the officers of the units of hundreds of the Carians ⁴  and the royal bodyguard. ⁵  He met with them ⁶  in the Lord’s temple. He made an agreement ⁷  with them and made them swear an oath of allegiance in the Lord’s temple. Then he showed them the king’s son.

11:12 Jehoiada ⁸  led out the king’s son and placed on him the crown and the royal insignia. ⁹  They proclaimed him king and poured olive oil on his head. ¹⁰  They clapped their hands and cried out, “Long live the king!”

12:9 Jehoiada the priest took a chest and drilled a hole in its lid. He placed it on the right side of the altar near the entrance of ¹¹  the Lord’s temple. The priests who guarded the entrance would put into it all the silver brought to the Lord’s temple.

2 Raja-raja 13:17

13:17 Elisha ¹²  said, “Open the east window,” and he did so. ¹³  Elisha said, “Shoot!” and

he did so. ¹⁴  Elisha ¹⁵  said, “This arrow symbolizes the victory the Lord will give you over Syria. ¹⁶  You will annihilate Syria in Aphek!” ¹⁷

17:26 The king of Assyria was told, ¹⁸  “The nations whom you deported and settled in the cities of Samaria do not know the requirements of the God of the land, so he has sent lions among them. They are killing the people ¹⁹  because they do not know the requirements of the God of the land.”

17:35 The Lord made an agreement ²⁰  with them ²¹  and instructed them, “You must not worship other gods. Do not bow down to them, serve them, or offer sacrifices to them.

22:3 In the eighteenth year of King Josiah’s reign, the king sent the scribe Shaphan son of Azaliah, son of Meshullam, to the Lord’s temple with these orders: ²²
